The withdrawal button does not appear on my site
The withdrawal button is added to your published site automatically. If you can’t see it, go through these checks in order. Most cases are solved by the first two.
1. Publish your site
The button appears on your live site only. You won’t see it in the Wix Editor or in the preview.
- Click Publish in the Editor.
- Open your live site in a private browser window.
2. Check that the button is switched on
In your Wix dashboard, open Apps → EU Shop Kit → Settings → Withdrawal button. Make sure Show the withdrawal button is on.
If Placement is set to Only where I place the EU Shop Kit widget, the button appears only where you added the EU Shop Kit widget in the Editor. Switch to Floating button on every page to show it everywhere.
3. Check your Wix plan
Online stores need a Wix plan that supports selling (a Business or eCommerce plan). On sites without a premium plan, Wix may not load app scripts at all.
4. Check your cookie banner
EU Shop Kit’s storefront script is registered with Wix as essential. It sets no cookies and doesn’t track visitors. If you use a third-party consent tool that blocks scripts until visitors accept, allow the EU Shop Kit script (app.eushopkit.com) as essential.
5. Try without browser extensions
Ad blockers and privacy extensions sometimes hide third-party elements. Check in a private window with extensions turned off, or on your phone.
6. Let the dashboard check again
The checklist item Button visible on your site turns green once a visitor has opened your live site with the button loaded. Open any page of your live site once, then reload the EU Shop Kit overview.
