Uninstalling EU Shop Kit
Before you uninstall
- Export your withdrawal records if you need them. On Pro and Business, open Apps → EU Shop Kit → Withdrawals and click Export CSV. The export contains your 1,000 most recent requests. Export isn’t available on the Free plan: if you need a copy of your records, contact support@eushopkit.com before you uninstall.
- Plan how shoppers will withdraw. If you sell to consumers in the EU, your shop still needs an online withdrawal function and the EU legal-guarantee notice. Have a replacement ready, and update your withdrawal policy if it points to the EU Shop Kit button.
- Check your subscription. If you’re on a paid plan, make sure it’s cancelled in your Wix account. Billing is handled by Wix.
How to uninstall
- In your Wix dashboard, go to Apps → Manage Apps.
- Next to EU Shop Kit, click the More Actions icon (⋯) and choose Delete.
- Confirm with Delete App. Wix may ask you why you’re deleting the app.
What happens right away
- The withdrawal button, the legal-guarantee notice and the product-page elements, such as product safety information, prior prices and the GARAN label, disappear from your site within a few minutes.
- EU Shop Kit stops recording your prices and sending notifications.
- EU Shop Kit disappears from your Wix dashboard.
Confirmation emails that shoppers have already received stay with them.
The 30-day grace period
We keep your data for 30 days after you uninstall, then delete it permanently. This includes withdrawal records whose retention period hasn’t ended yet, your settings, product safety data, manufacturer profiles and price history. Deleted data stays in encrypted backups for up to 7 days.
If you reinstall within 30 days, everything comes back: your settings, withdrawal records, product safety data and price history. Price changes you made while the app was removed aren’t in the history. Your plan is taken from Wix.
After 30 days, reinstalling starts from scratch.
